One of the most common questions we receive is whether treatments can be combined — and if so, whether combining them is safe and more effective. The answer, in most cases, is yes: intelligently combined treatments that work through complementary mechanisms produce synergistic results that exceed what any single treatment can achieve.
Can PRP and PRF be combined in the same session?
Yes — and this is one of our most popular protocols. PRP and PRF are prepared from the same blood draw (using different centrifuge speeds and anticoagulant protocols). Combining them in a single session provides both the immediate growth factor release of PRP and the sustained-release scaffold of PRF — a synergistic approach that outperforms either treatment alone.
Can I combine facial and hair treatments?
Yes. Many patients combine facial PRP/PRF treatments with scalp PRP/PRF in a single session — using one blood draw to prepare enough PRP and PRF for both treatment areas. This is efficient, cost-effective, and produces comprehensive results.
Are there treatments that should NOT be combined?
Some treatments require spacing to allow adequate healing and regenerative response before the next treatment. Your physician will advise on the optimal sequencing and timing for your specific protocol. In general, treatments that cause significant tissue disruption (deep microneedling, laser) should be spaced at least 4–6 weeks apart.
How do I know which combination is right for me?
Your physician will evaluate your specific concerns, goals, and biology to design the optimal protocol. There is no one-size-fits-all combination — every protocol is customized to the individual patient. A comprehensive consultation is the starting point for any combination protocol.
